I was walking with my wife to the car the other day after picking her up from work, as her car is in the shop getting some work done on it over the next week, and something sparkled and really caught my eye. I looked over and it was the dazzling diamond engagement ring that was on her ring finger. As the sun shone off that diamond engagement ring, I suddenly found myself daydreaming, recalling the day that I bent on one knee and offered her that diamond engagement ring as a sign that I intended to marry her and make her the happiest girl in the whole wide world. I was suddenly entranced, recalling all of the happy years of our marriage, all brought on by a simply prism reflection of sunshine on her engagement ring. Apparently it stopped me right in my tracks, and my wife turned to me asking me if everything was okay. To which I responded that yes, indeed things were not just okay, they were great, just like they were meant to be; like true love!
