aromatherapy candle I won a free massage and cashed it in this afternoon, and boy, did it feel good. My massage therapist had an aromatherapy candle burning and used an eye mask filled with lavender leaves, so needless to say, I was pretty mellow by the time he was finished. Between the relaxation music and the aromatherapy candle, that therapist really knew how to get me to leave my troubles and tension behind so his work was easier. This is the first time I've had a massage from a therapist who practices Buddhist type massage. It was really different. Instead of the intense thumb pressure some of them use, his was much smoother and gentler.

I'll probably go back in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime, I'm going to be using aromatherapy candles at home more to relax. A kind friend gave me a chi machine that rocks my body back and forth and causes the vibration sensors in my body to relax, and I can imagine that lighting an aromatherapy candle would help me get even more out of that machine. It's quite a good sensation. After about five minutes on it, I feel about 10 pounds lighter and with the benefits of aromatherapy candles and some essential oils, I might even get more benefit from the chi machine.
