aromatherapy candle

Have you ever noticed that there are some gifts that we tend to repeat on various occasions? I love to buy unique gifts, but the one thing I always give when I receive a housewarming invitation is an aromatherapy candle. It started about two years ago when my husband and I moved into our new home and I was having a difficult time getting the paint smell out of the house. He brought home an aromatherapy candle one afternoon and I couldn't believe what a huge difference it made. In fact, I went out the next day and bought another aromatherapy candle, and when the time came for us to have our housewarming, the entire house had an aromatherapy candle in each room.

Everyone commented that evening on how great the house smelled and how it didn't seem as though we'd just moved in, because there wasn't that smell of paint. I explained the aromatherapy candle to them and how it had made such a huge difference, and at that point the idea was born to buy them as housewarming gifts. Since then I've probably given at least one aromatherapy candle every month. It seems like there is always someone building a new home, or moving from one place to another and since I work in a huge office, it makes the opportunity arise even more often for it to be appropriate to give an aromatherapy candle as a gift.

I do generally try to buy scents of each aromatherapy candle based on the likes of the particular person that I'm buying for. For instance, this weekend I ordered Lemongrass & Kiwi Essential Blend, One 3x4 inch Pillar Essential Blends Candle. Burns Approx. 90 hrs., Unisex that I found for a great price at North Bay Emporium  whose online store can be found by visiting www.northbayemporium.com for my office assistant. She happens to love lemongrass and since I have this particular aromatherapy candle myself, I knew that she would adore the fragrance, so I ordered it for her. She hasn't moved yet, but just bought her first studio apartment and she complained that the only thing she didn't like was that it smelled like smoke. All she'll need to do is burn the aromatherapy candle for a few days and that should take care of most of the smoke scent. If you've been wondering what to get someone for a housewarming gift, a candle takes the guesswork out of the process, and your friends will love it.
