romantic gift ideas, diamond engagement ringI remember back when I was a young girl and a boy decided to give me a ring.  It was called "Going Steady" back in those days.  My boyfriend was filled with romantic gift ideas!  One time he slipped a tiny bottle of perfume in a pillow that he gave me. 

Now that I'm grown I'd have to say that one of my favorite romantic gift ideas is to place a necklace around the neck of a stuffed bear!  I've even heard of some romantic gift ideas where a person takes a diamond engagement ring and places it in a box of Cracker Jacks.  Now I'd say that one takes the cake!  I think the girl would need to have a pretty good sense of humor to pull that one off. 

Many guys have trouble coming up with romantic gift ideas, but if they'd just use their imagination, I'm sure they could come up with many romantic gift ideas to keep their lover guessing!  How about having a treasure hunt with a bunch of friends, you'd have to make sure all of the friends were in on it.  Hide the diamond engagement ring in a little wooden treasure chest.  What a great way to win a young woman's heart!
