aromatherapy candlesBeing a guy, I don’t get much pleasure out of aromatherapy candles. There may be some relaxing scents I have never smelled before though. Honestly, there have only been a few instances in my life where aromatherapy candles were present. What has got them back on my mind is a story I heard from my girlfriend about a trip to the spa she had while visiting her family back home. Amongst the spa treatment there was a moment her and her mom were getting a shoulder massage after sitting in a steam room where the scents of aromatherapy candles, as she said, “almost put me to sleep, they were so nice.”

She seemed to really enjoy the lavender and vanilla scented aromatherapy candles so I want to try and recreate the experience at my place. I can’t promise it is going to be as relaxing as going to an actual spa but it will be done with love so that has to count for something. My biggest hope is that I find the right aromatherapy candles scent. The wrong smell could really ruin the mood.
