I think that it is odd that people assume that just because something says discount that automatically means that it is of lesser quality. When in reality, discount just means that you are saving money off an otherwise steep retail price. I have been buying discount jewelry for years, and there are some other types of jewelry, like the diamond engagement ring that I purchased for my wife, that I have went all out on. I have never, honestly, been able to tell the difference in quality or lifetime of the jewelry that I buy between discount jewelry and higher priced jewelry. If you think about it, it’s all made from the same metals and stones, and many are even cut the same. But the big difference that I find is that the discount jewelry that I buy online is of almost the same quality as that I can find at a store in the mall, it just costs about half the price. My wife has been wearing some of the discount jewelry that I bought her for years now, even though I had to get her diamond ring reset because it came loose, which was the only jewelry I have had to repair; the more costly of the latter.
