discount jewelry, romantic gift ideasMy husband is quite good at thinking of romantic gift ideas but I must confess I have little ways of helping him. For instance my birthday is coming up soon and I really want some discount jewelry that contains garnets and either silver or white gold. Now I know to get this gift I am going to have to be slick and drop subtle hints without being explicit about it. I am worried that if I simply ask for discount jewelry that contains garnets he won’t buy it for me because then it won’t be a surprise.  So I am using furtive methods. Today my husband asked me how long I was likely to be on our computer because he wanted to pay some bills. I quickly found some garnet discount jewelry at an ecommerce store and left the web page up so that he would see it when he sat down at the computer. My next tactic will be to suggest a walk the next time we eat dinner at a restaurant at the local mall. When we pass the jewelry store I’ll point out some garnet jewelry and tell him I think it is really nice. He’s not a stupid man and these kind of techniques usually work so I am sure he’ll get the hint.
