Having Fun With Romantic Gift Ideas |

When you have to make a choice of whether or not to watch Brett Favre take the Vikings to a 7-0 record or plan out a romantic night for your anniversary, the romantic night better win. My husband actually made that mistake last year. He didn't put in a lot of effort to any kind of romantic gift ideas for our anniversary and really paid the price for it! However, according to him he did see a great football game that Sunday!
Romantic gift ideas have never been his strong suit. He can plan out a night on the town - usually a movie and a dinner - but, romantic gifts ideas usually fall flat. Although the prospect of seeing my Vikings go 7-0 under Favre's leadership was still pulling his attention away from the romantic evening, He did make a big effort to plan our night. He says he started to get a cool idea working in his head about two weeks before our anniversary this year, but was still having a hard time getting any romantic gift ideas.
He started to search online but kept getting distracted watching videos of Vikings season and reading sports blogs and columns. The date was quickly approaching so he really needed to focus. He promised himself he would not look at sports related news again until he got started with some romantic gift ideas. He started to think about what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted it relaxing and stress free. Here was his plan.
He was going to have my friend take me out shopping in the afternoon while he cooked us dinner. He had a friend come over and help him set up the dining room like a French bistro. They even put up a reservation table by the door! Him and his wife were going to be the waiter and waitress for the dinner he was preparing. However, he really still needed some good romantic gift ideas.
He went to the web to search. Now he was really into this romantic gift ideas thing! He said it was fun! He found a site called North Bay Emporium at www.northbayemporium.com. They had a lot of different romantic gift ideas there and saw the perfect ending of my night. He ordered a Relaxation Spa Care Package Gift Basket(Pack of 1). With this package from North Bay Emporium, he would now end my day with a relaxing spa treatment. With heated towels, warm bath, candles, fragrances, and even a rub down by a licensed masseuse.
Our anniversary was fantastic and I really loved everything. Plus, he didn't miss a thing on his football game. The Vikings lost. |
